Ayer pude cumplir ambos objetivos.

ONE RACE, TWO OBJETIVES
At the start of this season, I have two objectives. First, get into the Top15 in the Madrid´s Cup, and the second objective, finish the Becerril´s Race. This last Sunday I did it.
In Becerril de la Sierra was the fourth race of Madrid´s Cup (and the last for me), in the most hard, tecnic and beatiful circuit of all the Madrid´s Cup. In the start list, there were riders like Patxi Cía, David Escolar, Alejando Carrión, and the good notice, the return of Borja Chivato, who come back after his phisic problems.
The day started with rain and cold, but some hours later, the sun rising and start to get dry the circuit. The conditions were perfect.
So, I was in the start box in third lane, because in the last race of Madrid´s Cup in Ciempozuelos I didn´t run.
So, in the start (we did a little boucle in Becerril Streets before get into the circuit). I felt so good, so I started to win positions, and I got into the circuit in twelve position
THE CIRCUIT
The race was so fast in the first lap, there was a first climb into a forest, where was Marcos with his family, who was encouraging us. After that, we started a short downhill, got round a big rock, and started the hardest climb of the circuit, for a very  narrow path, only one bike could passed for it. In this section, I was in twelve position, fighting with other two riders for the position. After the path, we started a very hard wide track, who punished our legs. And after that, we climbed a little bit more, to the top of the hill! But, after, we started the downhill...yeahh the best downhill of all the Cup.

So hard, so technical, and the best thing, with the crowds cheering us. In this zone were a lot of friends, people with his cameras taking photos of the race, people with sirens, etc.
When you finish this second downhill, you start another more in a big rock, with a lot of people who were seeing the race, and shouting us to move faster the pedals, it was a great sensation.

THE BATTLE
So, the first three laps I was in a group of three riders, with a very beatiful battle for twelve position. I felt good, but in the third lap, my
motor said to me that he can´t push more, and I lost the group.
In the start of the fourth lap, I took a gel, and move faster the pedals, because if the rider who lead the race pass you, the judges get you out of the race.
The two laps were the worse for me. I was alone, with the 14º place in the race, and with few energies. Fortunately, I can finish the race in 14 position.

I feel so happy, I´m going step by step, and now, there are two very beatiful races in June, Pastrana´s Marathon, and the Madrid´s Marathon Championship.
But before that, 27 May, in Yepes (Toledo), the third race of the Spain´s Cup.

Ooppss

Well, how I can start the chronic? Maybe it's the shortest history I ever wrote in this blog jaja.
The last weekend Borja and me went to Trillo, a little and very beatiful town near Guadalajara, to run in a mountain bike race, a short race (about 40km.), with hot and dust. The start was great for me, I put in first position of the bunch to push hard, and after two kilometres, we were a group of five riders leading the race. All was great, but, in the 10km. I break a part of the crankset (yes the crankset), and I must to leave the race.
So, this weekend, I have easy to do well in the Becerril´s race. I feel great, and I try to do the best that I can.
See you in the way!
